China according to me

I totally missed out the point that blogger.com, just like Facebook and Youtube wouldn't be accepted in China, my bad. So, the question is how does one sum up an entire month in China with enough words that will describe the culture, the people, all the wonderful food and what you shouldn't miss in the most efficient way, without making it to boring?

We started out in Beijing, went to the Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Night Market, Silk Market, Summer Palace, we even went to Olympic Stadium.  There's a quote that says "He who has not climbed The Great Wall is not a true man", so we did that as well. No chance I'm going to China without doing that!
Nevertheless, climbing the wall is most certainty a challenge for someone who is totally terrified of heights, as usual my mind made up those silly thoughts of me once again dying, at least I would have been to The Great Wall I thought.

China is a large country, people say they understand that, but I'm not sure they actually really do. Getting to Xi'an from Beijing took about 12 hours, and our longest train trip so far has been over 21 hours. The climate has as well changed between Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai and Yangshuo.
All, in all, we've done the things that are a must do while visiting China. In Xi'an the Terracotta army, in Shanghai, The Bund, The Old Town, Nanjing Road. And in Yangshuo we took a trip on the Li river and the Yulong river.
I've got so much more to say about China, but not enough words to describe all the wonderful things. So that's all for now. More about our stay in China here.
